Earth is temporary

Hey guys, I know I said this week I’d continue the sexual immorality series, but God has led me in a different direction this week.

What is sin? According to the Holy Bible in the Books of Deuteronomy 9:7 and Jacob 1:18, sin is rebellion against God. Sin is committing an immoral act that defies God.

Where does sin lead? Hell/Lake of Fire forever.

Many of you may not know that Earth is not our permanent home (Philippians 3:20). Everything we know is temporary. Our houses, cars, jobs, and money will one day no longer matter (Colossians 3:2) (Matthew 6:19-21). They will be useless and meaningless to us one day. Our actions matter the most; how we live, what we say, how we say it, and how we spend our time all count! Living for God and avoiding sin is essential to go to heaven. When our earthly bodies die, our souls have an eternal fate; Jesus determines our soul’s destiny (Matthew 13:24-30, 37-43, & 47-51) (Matthew 25: 22-46). There are only two distinctly different places for the soul: Heaven or Hell; there are no in-between.

What is Heaven? Heaven is a beautiful gift given to us by our Heavenly Father (John 14:2-4)!  Heaven is a place where God's righteous sons and daughters will inherit many blessings and live in paradise for eternity (Matthew 5:12) (Luke 6:23) (Romans 8:17) (1Corinthians 3:14)! We are promised eternal life, meaning we will live forever as new and improved people. We will receive new Christ-like bodies that are immortal, pure, holy, and free from sickness. (Philippians 3:21) (Romans 8:23)! There will be no more death, sorrow, weeping, suffering, darkness, demons, or negativity; only greatness dwells here (Revelation 21:4)! Heaven is indescribably beautiful. It is far more beautiful than the human mind can ever comprehend. The characteristics of Heaven are described in the book of Revelation 21:1- 27.

How to get to Heaven? Repent of your sins- Ask God for forgiveness (Matthew 6:14-15). Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! Jesus is the key to Heaven; You MUST accept The Son of God to get there (Romans 10:9-10)! We all need to live according to the Holy Bible, live right, and have a proper relationship with God (John 3:16) (Proverbs 21:21) (Matthew 5:3-12).

What is Hell? Hell is a place where the wicked, sinful people of this world will go and endure harsh punishments for eternity. Sin leads to Hell. Sin leads to becoming a prisoner for eternity. Sin leads to death, darkness, suffering, burning, bondage, and eternal torment. There is only sorrow and negativity here. There is not a single good thing about hell! YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO TO HELL! IF YOU HAVE BEEN LIVING IN SIN, REPENT NOW TO AVOID THIS! (Revelation 21:8) (2 Thessalonians 1:9) (Romans 6:23)!

HEAVEN IS OUR GOAL!  HEAVEN IS OUR PERMANENT HOME! WE WANT TO BE WITH JESUS, IN PARADISE FOREVER (1 THESSALONIANS 4:17)!

The world is temporary, but Jesus is forever!
