Fornication & Adultery:

Today, I will discuss things that are considered a sin that you might not be aware of. I will be conducting a series on this topic. (I’m using the Holy Bible as my reference). **PSA: I am not worthy of judging anyone. God is the only one who can judge us! I once lived in sin, but God has delivered and saved me. He can do the same for you! He has enlightened me, and I am here to enlighten you.

Fornication

What is fornication? Having sex or committing sexual acts with someone outside of marriage. Fornication is classified as sexual immorality and idolatry in the Bible- which means it is considered morally wrong to commit this act and identified as idolizing the flesh. I don’t know why society has made this sin the “new norm,” but I am only here to educate you that it is a sin. Sex is meant to be a special bond between husband and wife, not between those in a dating relationship. Sex being shared with anyone other than husband and wife is considered lust. You can wait until marriage. God would not have designed it that way if it were not possible.

This also includes shacking up. The term shacking up means living in the same household as sexual partners without being married. God does not agree with this either. You should have a home with your spouse. If you do not plan on getting married, there is no point in living together. Fornication leads to HELL!!! Look for yourselves (1 Thessalonians 4:3), (1 Corinthians 6:9), (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), (1 Corinthians 7:3-5 & 9), (Galatians 5:19-21), (Colossians 3:5 &10), (Hebrews 13:4).

Adultery

What is Adultery? Having sexual relations with someone else’s spouse.  This sin has become prominent in today’s perverse generation and is considered an abomination to God. Adultery is a HUGE no-no! The Bible says in the Ten Commandments, “Thou shalt not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14). I'm here to tell you that if you are committing adultery, God will expose you! This act is primarily done secretly because both parties know they are wrong. You may think you got away with it, but God sees EVERYTHING! You cannot hide anything from God (Luke 12:2-3). I don't care how fine or good-looking they are, DON'T DO IT! You are seeing the outer appearance, but know it is a negatively impaired spirit trying to lure you into sin! It may look and sound like that person but realize it is a demon attempting to deceive you.

You may be talking to a guy or girl and find out they are married and still choose to entertain the adulterous demon. Next thing you know, they have invited you to their place while their spouse is not home. You gave into the flesh and laid down with the demonic force. Now, you have committed two sins: fornication and adultery. Soul ties are real, and when you have sex out of sin, it transfers evil spirits. Some of you who know better may feel guilty, and others who have sinned for a long time may not. Suddenly, you think, "Oh, the husband didn't catch us, or the wife didn't. We could do this again and keep on the down low." Then you acknowledge that individual as your “sneaky link. "Why is “sneaky link” a term being used, period?! If Sneaky is describing the link, doesn't that sound like you shouldn't be "linking" with that person? You need to open your eyes fast! To give into the flesh is only a few moments of pleasure. Those few moments of pleasure are not worth your soul's eternal suffering. Those few moments are nothing compared to the outcome of your transgressions. When you continue to do this, you are digging your own grave. You are falling into the pit of destruction, to the pits of hell (Leviticus 18:20-29), (Proverbs 6:32), (Proverbs 7:1-27), (1 Corinthians 6:9).  When satan is trying to tempt you, walk away and don't look back (Matthew 5:27-28), (Galatians 5:19-21), (Hebrews 13:4)!

If you have committed these sins, make sure to repent as soon as possible. Remember, Jesus saves and delivers!
